Television is one of the most used inventions in the history of man. I am sure it would be ranked in the top ten of inventions. There are several major inventions such as; fire, the wheel, electricity, TV, radio, telephone, and the computer. Some inventions were found through necessity; while others for just pure pleasure and entertainment.

In the US, television is thought to be the chosen form of affordable entertainment. We also rely on the TV for the latest and up-to-the-minute-breaking news. And the weatherman; we depend on him in order select the wardrobe of the day.

We are a Retired Military Family; and this website is a dedication to family, friends, and neighbors.

There was such comradery with our military friends and neighbors. Spending hours upon hours talking, working, playing, we were just one big family. When we were stationed in Germany, TV was considered a luxury. We had one station that broadcast in English. This was not a problem for our big family. While watching TV or movies, we would point out things in the background, such as Pepsi, Coke, McDonalds, the little things that would remind us of our homeland.

Our domain name “Daily TV Talk” was originated through some memories of our adventures with our military friends, neighbors and of course TV.
